inBarbados is not just another covid initiative, but was conceptualized two decades ago, even though development was only seriously done in the last two years. From as far back as 2000, it was recognized that while micro businesses could benefit from a web presence, based on several factors, a traditional website wasn’t always going to be an ideal solution, we subsequently determined to build what we had dubbed (mini-sites) and in subsequent years, XS Pages. Over the years social media was introduced (yes the idea was before hi5 and facebook) and eventually more cost effective web solutions became common place, however we continued to develop and refine the concept to maintain its relevance, giving birth to what is now inBarbados. For all these reasons we are much more than just another business directory.
