Description
Harrisons Cave is considered by some as the eighth wonder of the world.
An hour-long visit to the facility includes a video on the discovery of the Cave, followed by a guided tour, by tram. Some of the Cave’s most interesting features are the stalagmites and stalactites, formations caused by years of water running naturally through the rocks and pools of cool, clear water – again, formed naturally.
Located in the parish of St. Thomas, the Cave is 210 metres above sea level and make for a spectacular visit for those wishing to take in a piece of history or geography.
